ENGLEWOOD — North Port jumped out to a 6-0 lead then held off a late inning comeback to defeat Lemon Bay, 6-5, Monday night.
The Bobcats got three runs in the first off Manta Rays starter Wilson Shaw, as Rylan Bradley and Josh Doerrfeld singled and Zach Mitchell followed with a two run double. Mitchell came home on a throwing error by second baseman Joel Vazquez.
