  • The presidential primary is for registered Republican Party voters because the state Democratic Party decided not to hold one. It’s too late to change your party affiliation for the presidential primary but afterward you can do it for the August primary or the November general election.
  • The ballot will have the names of candidates who withdrew or suspended their campaigns after the Dec. 12 deadline. A vote cast for any candidate on the ballot will counts as a vote for that candidate.
  • Early voting runs each day from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through Sunday, March 17 at six locations that can be found at . You can vote at any of them. You need to present valid photo and signature IDs.
  • It’s too late to return a vote-by-mail ballot through the mail, but you can drop it off at an early voting location during early voting hours; at an SOE office during early voting hours on the weekend; or at any elections office from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
